Most personal safety apps focus only on emergencies. Spher combines safety tools like SOS alerts, live location sharing, and smartwatch auto-alerts with real women-first communities and in-app content, so the app is useful every day, not just when something feels wrong.
What is a “Guardian”?
A Guardian is someone you choose and trust. If you trigger an alert, your Guardians receive the information they need to follow what is happening and stay close until you say you are safe.
How does location sharing work?
You can choose to share your live location with a single contact or with all of your trusted contacts, your Spher. This lets loved ones track your journey and know when you arrive safely.
You can only locate someone who has chosen you as their Spher and decided to share their location.
What happens when I trigger the alarm?
When you trigger Spher's alarm, the app records audio of your surroundings and sends it along with your live location to your chosen contacts via email.
Can my smartwatch trigger an alarm?
Yes. Spher's optional smartwatch integration monitors motion and pulse data. It can automatically trigger an alert to your Spher if it detects a fall or sudden spike.
Spher uses Apple Watch fall detection and heart monitoring.
Can I create and moderate my own community?
Absolutely. You can start a private group (your own Spher), invite trusted members and manage membership. Within your group you can start chats and share locations directly, and as the moderator you control who joins and what is shared to keep the space safe.
